    Spot-On Spoof of the Day: Edmonton-based sketch comedy troupe Mostly Water take TLC’s TV show lineup to its obvious conclusion.

    This is sad and funny, because when I was a kid, TLC was a great channel for informative and entertaining content, e.g. shows about dinosaurs, astronomy, and, one time, this amazing documentary called “The Human Face” hosted by John Cleese. At least we have The Science Channel and Discovery (sometimes).

    I loved that documentary and I too miss what TLC used to be. I was commenting to our parents the other day that they really need to change their slogan. The Life Channel. Maybe. The only thing you learn is what NOT to do with your life. I don’t know. It’s too late/early for a sense-making rant.
